"A fantastic few days staying at Harvest Moon; the house is great, as lovely as the photos, spotlessly clean, and we were greeted with a fabulous welcome basket filled with all sorts of lovely things, including fresh eggs from the farms’ chickens. Beautiful, peaceful location. Ted popped by to welcome us to the house and was ever so kind, and responded swiftly when we reached out to him. Can’t fault it and would wholeheartedly recommend here as a great place to stay!" AirBnB

"I'd definitely recommend staying at the Harvest Moon if you're a group of friends/family looking for a countryside location with lots of space, privacy, and amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped and had a large dining room table, while the living room was both spacious and cosy, offering plenty of seating and a lovely log burner. They even provided a travel cot at the last minute, and nothing was too much trouble. It wasn't immaculately clean, but for me, this didn't detract from all the positives the barn has to offer." 2023-06-22 Sally H, Findon

"Idyllic Stay. Lovely peaceful remote location and yet only 10 minutes from Honiton shops and The Otter pub. Ted is a great host - chatty & friendly & provided a fabulous hamper of complimentary goodies on arrival - milk, eggs, fresh bread, cake, fruit, coffee, wine to name a few. Thank you this was really lovely! The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed and more! We (3 generations of family aged 17 to 89) all loved it here and will definitely return. The only improvement I can think of is that given we visited in the summer, and therefore had the windows open, next time I’ll bring a plug in fly zapper as being on a farm there were understandably a few about! Thank you for a fabulous stay!"

2022-03-13 Sue M, Falmouth

"We ( 5 school friends) have just returned home after a fabulous stay at Harvest Moon. What a stunning barn in a beautiful, rural location. Ted, the owner was a great, friendly host. A well stocked hamper was there when we arrived with bread, milk, biscuits, ceral, cake, tea, coffee, butter and orange juice, with fresh eggs from the chickens. Unlimited logs for the log burner were also included. Weather wasn't great, but we didn't care as the barn was comfortable to relax in for the 3 nights we were there. Comfortable beds and large kitchen/diner with large lounge to relax in, a well equipped kitchen within the spotlessly clean barn. Toiletries were also include, a great touch. Thank you for letting us share your family farm."

2021-10-22 Matt C, Writtle

"We had a fantastic time staying at Harvest Moon. The property is clean, comfortable, very well equipped with a modern interior, and in a lovely and very quiet location at the end of a lane to the north of Feniton, some way outside the village. It was lovely for our 5 year old daughter to be able step outside and say hello to the chickens, and see cows and sheep in the fields opposite. It is well located to explore south Devon and west Dorset. Ted is an excellent, friendly, host, there if you need him but otherwise lets you enjoy your holiday in peace. The basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival was much appreciated and a lot more generous than we’ve had in other holiday properties! The property sleeps 8; we were a party of 5 in the end (it was intended to be 7) and so had plenty of room, but even with 8 there would be sufficient room. It has its own private garden area although in October it was a bit too cold to take advantage of this! The acid test for any holiday is “would you go back?”, and we certainly would."

2021-10-15 Ailis M, West Coker

"Beautiful location in the countryside, we were two young families and picked this location because it was close to activity centres. Couldn't fault anything, we had a spacious garden, rooms and bedrooms. stair gates, travel cot provided. Really useful having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer on hand after long muddy walks. Would definitely recommend!! ❤️"

2021-10-11 Vyvyan T, Truro

"A superb venue for a family celebration with a very welcoming host. Our stay was to meet up with family and friends to celebrate our Golden Wedding and this proved to be the perfect venue. Shortly after we arrived the owner, Ted, called around to make sure we were comfortable and readily agreed that we could charge our car - he is thinking about having dedicated facilities installed over the winter period. On arrival there was the most bountiful welcome hamper that we have ever experienced. I won't list the many items as I wouldn't wish to spoil the surprise for future visitors. There was no shortage of crookery, glassware or cutlery and there was plenty of provision of cookware, etc. Copious towels/bath sheets provided for our use and effective showers. Ted also supplied toiletries. Our four cars didn't stretch the allocated parking. A most enjoyable stay for our special occasion."

"We have stayed in a number of Holiday Lets over the years but this surpassed all of them. The welcome pack was amazing and the owner, Ted, very welcoming. ( He even let our grandson sit in his tractor!). The quality of the accommodation was outstanding and it had the most well equipped kitchen that I could have hoped for. Location was within easy ( 30mins) reach of the coast. We would not hesitate to recommend this holiday home and are going to suggest it to other members of our family as an excellent venue for them to get together in for family reunions. We especially liked the attention to detail such as stairgates and supply of waste bags, kitchen towel, tea towels, BBQ charcoal etc. "
