"14 family members met up here for a birthday celebration. It was a great location which enabled us to have some nice long walks with a pub stop halfway. Kitchen well equipped for cooking for large groups. Kids loved the pool." - Airbnb
"We had a lovely stay at The Old Stables. The house was spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful view from the dining room. The spa/pool was excellent and a lovely bonus to our stay." AirBnB
"We had a lovely stay. The surroundings are incredible, quiet and rural. The house was well fitting to our large group. The living room could be updated, and pool room could do with a service but it was lovely and warm. Communication was quick and responsive even though I was concerned with only being able to text, this however wasn’t an issue as they were quick to respond. All of our guests had plenty of room and we all look forward to doing a trip like this again in the future." AirBnB
'Great private location for friends and family. Visited with adults and kids and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Only downside was some some mattresses were soft and one of the baths didn’t work. The pool was warm and the access times were good (until 8pm)." AirBnB
"Lovely big property.. swimming pool was fantastic. Well equipped including 3 cots. Beautiful views."AirBnB
"We stayed at this location for 4 days, 11 people and we had more room than we could have asked for. The property is outstanding, well equipped and perfect for large gatherings. Thanks you Charles and the utmost thanks to Piers, even a little question was answered and we are very grateful for everything, amazing with their communication and helpfulness. The location was beautiful, comfortable, clean, as described and the pool and hot tub facilities were incredible. Well worth 5 stars."AirBnB
"Fantastic holiday, beautiful surroundings with plenty to do in the local area… house and pool were amazing, we all felt very at home! Would definitely stay again!" AirBnB
"Comfortable house, great if you have kids and dogs. Well heated, we were never cold, would have liked to use the woodburner but it was always too warm even with the radiators turned down ! Close walks over fields for the dogs. Swimming pool and hot tub were a great addition which we made good use of. Plenty of clothes storage, and great bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Close to Bath and Cheddar Gorge for days out. Only downside was we could only find one shaver socket so would recommend bringing an adapter for shavers or toothbrushes. Had a fabulous week though celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. We also used ‘dineindulge’ for a breakfast on my daughters birthday which we can highly recommend." AirBnB
"The Old Stables is a fantastic place to stay. Plenty of space and well set out accommodation made it the perfect stay. The views from the dining room are breathtaking and the pool / spa area are the icing on the cake. We would definitely come again and would highly recommend."
"Beautiful location, very spacious property was ideal for our large family. Everyone loved it. Swimming pool was a great addition."
"I booked SummerHouse for a family gathering in the week before Christmas 2022. Our family members joined us later in the day and were very excited by the beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. We very much enjoyed the spa facility. The pool and hot tub were very warming! Similarly the garden room is splendid with marvellous views across the valley. Spectacular at sunset."
