"The house was clean, spacious with full sun on the decked area with a great hot tub from which beautiful views over the lake could be enjoyed. A great big gas barbecue was very handy as we had perfect weather for it, with a patio table, chairs and umbrella outside too. The host had bought us butter, a very welcome baguette and some milk. SummerHouse comprises a beautifully appointed former stables and adjoining granary located in extensive grounds with spectacular views across an iconic viaduct straddling the Chew Valley. Old Stables and East Wing can be booked together or separately for family get togethers, parties or special celebrations. The old barn has been stylishly turned into a spa with a fabulous indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub and steam room.

"I booked SummerHouse for a family gathering in the week before Christmas 2022. Our family members joined us later in the day and were very excited by the beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. We very much enjoyed the spa facility. The pool and hot tub were very warming! Similarly the garden room is splendid with marvellous views across the valley. Spectacular at sunset." - Paul
