Sweet Spot is a beautiful five bedroom villa with a private pool set on the top ridge of the prestigious Royal Westmoreland Golf Resort - one of Barbados' most exclusive areas.
Guests can enjoy golfing on the Robert Trent Jones designed golf course, with significantly reduced rates, exclusive beach club membership and on-site dining. Other on-site amenities include a gym, flood-lit tennis courts and a wellness centre. The Sanctuary Clubhouse also houses a large fitness centre, resort size pool, Jacuzzi and children’s play area.
Sweet Spot comprises a two level villa with an adjacent two bedroom guest cottage. Together sleeping ten across five en suite bedrooms, it is the perfect vacation rental for large groups or families.
Spend the day on the villa's own charming pool terrace, with its peaceful covered outdoor dining and seating areas where you can watch the beautiful sunsets. From here, you have direct access to the spacious open-plan living area inside, providing a light and airy cosy lounge area and colourful dining space. The kitchen is just steps away and very spacious. It has all the appliances you could need and is kept cool and comfy with a ceiling fan and large windows.
All of the impressively-proportioned bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning, safe and Smart television, and each has its own en suite bathroom. You will find king, queen and twin rooms in the main house, while the remaining two bedrooms are located in the guest cottage. Perfect for a small family wanting some extra privacy, this cottage has a queen-size bed in one bedroom and twin beds in the other.
Sweet Spot is exceptionally located on the West Coast of Barbados, with its powdery white sandy-beaches.
The Royal Westmoreland Beach Club at the enchanting Mullins Bay is a five minute drive or there is a free shuttle bus. At the Beach Club, full beach service is provided with complimentary loungers, umbrellas, and towels. Plus a bar, restaurant, pool, showers and changing facilities.
As well as all the facilities of the resort, Sweet Spot benefits from its proximity to two of the west coast's main towns. Both approximately 10 minutes away, Holetown and Speightstown complement each other well – Holetown is great for nightlife, luxury shopping and entertainment, while Speightstown has a calmer vibe and a fascinating history to uncover, as well as some suitably chilled-out eateries.
When you stay at Sweet Spot, you will you have full use of the on site facilities at Westmoreland which comprise of a world championship 18 hole golf course, pro shop, open-plan styled club house with a really excellent restaurant & bar offering an extensive menu for both lunch and dinner.
There is also a stunning communal 2000 sq. ft. swimming pool with children’s section with spacious surrounding patios and plenty of sun loungers for your comfort.
Lastly there is an air-conditioned fitness centre, and four championship tennis courts with flood lighting.
As a privileged guest of Sweet Spot, you have access to the Mullins Bay Beach Club. Mullins Bay beach is 4 km (7 minutes drive) and there is a complimentary shuttle bus or plenty of members parking should you decide to drive.
At Mullins Bay Beach Club, you have access to a second gym as well as a beauty spa / salon and beach bar with restaurant. Beach chairs are also available for the guests or members of the club. It is a truly stunning beach and you will enjoy swimming in the incredible warm and calm azure sea, sunbathing on the pristine beach or just resting in the shade of a palm tree.
For the active and younger visitors water sports are also available on this spectacular beach.
Sweet Spot is also close to Paynes Bay Beach, just 10 minutes’ drive away, and a 7 minute drive takes you to secluded Gibbes Beach.
Luxury lifestyle centre, Limegrove, where guests can enjoy duty free shopping and a variety of restaurants, is an 8 minute drive from Sweet Spot.
Speightstown is 12 minutes away by car, and has a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Holetown is just 4 km from Westmoreland where you will find some of the best restaurants on the Island together with plenty of local and designer shopping.
There is an excellent selection of beach bars and restaurants within a short drive. Here are some of our tried and recommended eating spots. Please book ahead:
Little Bristol Beach Bar, Speightstown (12 minute drive). We have only enjoyed amazing cocktails and sundowners here. Food is supposed to be good though. Great music, atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonable prices
Jumas Speightstown (12 minute drive). A lovely restaurant overlooking the sea, with superb food and sundowners.
Fishermans Pub, Speightstown (12 minute drive). Fabulous and affordable authentic Bajan dishes served cafeteria style in a relaxed and casual setting. Can dine on the deck with ocean views
The Fish Pot, Clinketts (14 minute drive). Fantastic restaurant overlooking the sea. The menu is varied with an emphasis on fresh seafood.
Sea Shed Restaurant, Mullins (7 minute drive). Great beach surroundings, friendly and helpful staff. The food was lovely. Good place for cocktails, lunch and dinner.
Bombas Beach Bar, Mullins (8 minute drive). Amazing views, great food. Small portions!
The Lone Star (6 minute drive) was once an idyllically-placed petrol station, but now it’s a stellar seafood restaurant and cocktail bar on the beach.
John Moore’s rum shack (5 minute drive) is the locals’ hangout of choice.
La Cabane, Batts Rock Beach (18 minute drive). True beach chic – A place to relax all day,fabulous for lunch, cocktails and dinner under the stars.
Dina’s Bar & Cafe, Bathsheba (30 minute drive). Great restaurant to visit when exploring this side of the island. Fabulous for Sunday lunch, great views and service.
Grantley Adams International Airport is 30km away; that’s a 40-minute drive on the island 's highways.
