Comprising myself (Linnie Clements) and Charles Millward, Staycation Holidays is a small independent family business. We launched Staycation Holidays in October 2015. Who would have thought then what a buzz word ‘Staycation’ would become! Charles brings over 20 years of experience in the holiday rental market in the UK. He spent over eight years as CEO at one of the UK’s leading holiday lettings companies before forming his own holiday company.

I freelanced for a holiday lettings agency for many years and now concentrate on all aspects of the Staycation Holidays website as well as handling its social media.

Both Charles and myself have in-depth knowledge of all of our holiday cottages as well as their owners, their neighbourhoods, local attractions and events. Understanding our specialism perfectly enables us to help you find the right holiday property and get the best out of your holiday. Whether it’s for a big occasion or get-together, a family break, or romantic getaway, we’ll do everything we can to ensure that your experience is just about perfect.

Staycation Holidays are accessible 24/7 and you will always communicate with Charles Millward. All aspects of your bookings are handled by Charles from start to finish. He has personally visited every holiday cottage, has a complete picture of what’s going on with your booking and has your best interests at heart. You’ll find he treats you as an individual and listens to you. He is available to offer you help and advice whenever you need it and if, for any reason, he is unable to answer your call, he aims to respond within the hour.

"From the start, Charles was so accommodating and very easy to contact regarding our stay. He let us check in 2 hours earlier to decorate the house, promptly answered any queries we had via email (even at 7am), sorted out any minor problems we had during our stay and left us with a large hamper of treats including 4 bottles of prossecco! Prior to arrival we had a detailed description of the property including local restaurants, walks and in house catering details. The property was fabulous for our weekend and the views breath taking! I was contacted on the day of departure to return my deposit which was promptly returned to me! It couldn't have gone any better and THANK YOU! Being 'à deux’, we can think on our feet, respond quickly and make the necessary changes to respond to events, such as the Covid-19 pandemic. We also take a flexible approach to bookings so that you can book from as few as two nights up to 28 nights and offer unique arrival days too. We are approachable and listen to your requirements and we try to understand and empathise with each individual’s holiday needs. Over the past 20 years we have built up contacts with very many property owners, meaning that we can usually match you to your dream holiday cottage even if it is not currently displayed on our website.
