Our Covid-19 Book with Confidence Guarantee means that you can book your next holiday with us safe in the knowledge that if you, or we, have to cancel your booking due to a full national lockdown, and/or the address submitted during the booking process being placed into a Tier by Government which has a "DO NOT TRAVEL" restriction placed on it, you will receive a full refund.

Covid-19 update as at 20th October 2021.

Please ensure you familiarise and check the latest national and local Government rules/guidance before you travel: http://www.gov.uk/find-coronavirus-local-restrictions.

If your booking is for any of our properties in England or Wales, there are currently no Covid-19 related laws that restrict the number of people or number of households that can attend it.

Covid-19 Safety

covidsanitise.jpg

In line with government and public health guidelines, we are delighted to be able to welcome guests to all of our holiday properties. We want to reassure you that we have all the necessary safety precautions in place. You can feel 100% comfortable when travelling and look forward to your well-deserved break.

We have temporarily removed some items like: information leaflets, magazines, excess crockery, board games etc. If there is anything essential you need for your stay please do bring this with you. Although inconvenient perhaps, this will minimise risks to all parties.

What we are asking from our guests:

Cleaning will take extra time:
Due to COVID-19 a risk based approach to cleaning is being implemented and we are essentially having to double clean. This means that we need extra time for each changeover, so arrival and departure times will now be a strict 5.00pm arrival (rather than 4pm), and a strict 9.00am departure (rather than the usual 10am). Please do not enter the property whilst housekeeping are still there and likewise housekeeping cannot enter the property until you have left. Please also do not schedule food deliveries until after 5pm. We understand it is inconvenient, but it is really important that you allow us this extra time to ensure your safety. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Some things may be missing:
To reduce the risk of touch contamination, we have been advised to remove as much as possible from the properties. This means that decorative cushions and throws, ornaments, paper information leaflets, toys, games, etc may have been kept to a minimum.

Please strip your beds before leaving:
It would be more than helpful if you could strip your bed and place all bedding/towels in the bin bags provided by housekeeping. Not glamorous, on the last day of your holiday, we know. The main route for contracting the virus is airborne, and it is considered that removing bedding could make the virus airborne, which is why the Government advise asking guests to strip the beds themselves. This reduces the risk to guests and to housekeeping.

Please empty all bins (including bathroom bins). Please ensure gloves/tissues/masks/waste is put in the waste bins and not left for housekeeping to handle.

Please fill the dishwasher with a full load of crockery and cutlery and set it running before leaving (do not empty it). We are now required to re-wash everything between guests, so it would help hugely if you could put all plates, cutlery, cups etc in the dishwasher before leaving, not just your breakfast things.

Housekeeping & Maintenance:
If you have an urgent maintenance or housekeeping issue please contact the housekeeper

Please ensure you adhere to social distancing guidelines keep at least 2m away if you are in proximity of housekeeping/maintenance/gardening staff or a guest in the adjacent property.

Please try and keep the property clean throughout your stay by wiping down high traffic areas like door handles and hand rails. Please only use cleaners that are safe to use on those surfaces so as to not damage them. Additional cleaning items have been provided, so you can help us to minimise the risk.

Please ensure you wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.

It is the guests responsibility to bring face masks/gloves/hand sanitisers. Please ensure all guests are following the current Government guidelines.

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms:
We sincerely hope that you will have a happy and healthy holiday. However, should a member of your party develop symptoms, then you must immediately go and get tested by contacting https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-an-antigen-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus/.
The result must be emailed to stay@staycationholidays.co.uk.

All guests travelling must be free of COVID-19, not be symptomatic and not be in a period of self-isolation. Guests have an obligation to protect their other guests, our contractors and the local community.

The latest guidance from the Government on Covid-19 can be found at https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
