Covid-19 update as at 9th September 2020.
The Government’s announcement made on 8th September 2020 stated it will be against the law to stay in a holiday home with people you do not live with in a group larger than 6 (unless you are staying as a household or support bubble) in any of our properties in England and Wales.
This affects all stays taken from 14th September (or if your booking starts before 14th September, with a holiday duration spanning 14th September).
Currently there is no end date to this restriction. However, we are initially only contacting customers with booking, with an arrival date up to 1st November.
The options available to our guests with stays up to 1st November are as follows
- Rearrange to new dates in 2020 or 2021, with no amendment fee. If your revised dates are a lower price we will refund the difference, if the new dates are higher we will require you to pay the difference.
- Reduce the number of people in your group to six
- Or receive a full refund.
If you do decide to request a refund, please contact us, rather than requesting a chargeback to your payment card as this creates unnecessary administration in processing refunds.
In the event that the restriction goes beyond 1st November, and the Government do not submit an end date we will extend the options above to a new date.
The latest guidance from the Government on Covid-19 can be found at https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
