1 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield (English Heritage)

Details: This delightful Jacobean house was home to author Rudyard Kipling and is packed to the rafters with his memorabilia, with most rooms – including Kipling’s study – preserved almost exactly as they were when the writer lived there.
