The Granary, sleeping two, is a superb, single-storey barn conversion situated next to the owner’s home in the beautiful Eden Valley. It is equally placed between the Kent market town of Edenbridge and the historic village of Hever, both one mile distant, and is only half an hour’s drive from Gatwick Airport.

Immaculately presented throughout to provide spacious, contemporary accommodation, this delightful cottage is ideal for couples or friends looking to enjoy time together while exploring one of the loveliest parts of Kent.

The Granary is a perfect romantic retreat for couples wishing to relax and unwind. Sleeping two people with one bedroom and a shower room, the comfortable super king-size bed can be converted into two single beds on request, ideal for two friends. The large open plan living area makes for a perfect place to enjoy an evening with a DVD or settle down with a good book.

Why not start, or end, the day by sitting out on the patio while plans unfold for the days ahead? Guests also have shared use of the owner’s lawned garden.

There’s plenty to see and do while holidaying in this area. This part of rural Kent is ideal for taking long walks and there is a footpath just outside the property with miles of country to explore. A little further afield is Ashdown Forest, with its Five Hundred Acre Wood, familiar to Winnie the Pooh fans. The Granary is also only two miles from Hever Castle Golf Club.

Hever is famous for its connections with Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. A visit to moated Hever Castle will delight history lovers and gardeners with its rich past and 165 acres of formal gardens.

The regency town of Tunbridge Wells, with its many shops and restaurants, is worth a visit, and for jazz fans, there is an outdoor jazz festival held here in the summer.

Other local attractions include Penshurst Place, Chartwell and picturesque Chiddingstone village.

No matter what time of year you choose to stay at this wonderful cottage, your holiday diary can be as full as you want to make it.

Mrs Louise English, Harleston, Norfolk – March 2016
”The Granary is finished, furnished and decorated to the highest standard. It’s a gorgeous space to be in, and is very quiet and relaxing. The Granary was the perfect short break. The outside space is lovely too but I did not use it in the January rain!”
Ms Katherine Allen, Sevenoaks – January 2016
”The Granary is a true home from home, the owner has made this cottage a cosy warm retreat to return to after exploring the Kent countryside. The well equipped kitchen is the best we have ever had in a holiday cottage with good quality utensils and appliances which made cooking Christmas dinner a breeze. The bed was big and really comfortable, and the puzzles, books and games kept us entertained. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.”
Mrs Deborah Cassford, Bicester, Oxfordshire – December 2015
”A quiet country cottage which was extremely well presented with quality appliances and furnishings, it had everything you could possibly need. Would recommend to all.”
